My problem as of late seems to be moving to more constipation than the other. Possibly because of age, (68).

With this condition I have colon redundancy or a longer colon than normal. Is there anyone out there with a similar condition and how do you handle it? Also find that the constipation also causes mor pressure on bladder or prostate, not sure which.

Any comments would be appreciated.

When I had my colonoscopy the GI doc said I had a redundant colon too, however, I have IBS D so I'm not sure I have any input. Just thought it was interesting that you have one too and you are IBS C now. Interesting.....maybe I will become C as I get older Not sure which is worse

Well until lately I was I guess you could say IBS - A or alternate. But my problem seem to get worse after gall bladder surgery.

Hopefully with more Metamucil I'll catch up.
