I have the worst gas. Severe fullness, bloating, gas pains, gas cramps. I have tried gas-x, phazyme. I drink lots of strong oregano, peppermint, ginger, fennel tea. I do yoga too. I don't know what to do. I'm in agony. Anyone know any med that can take it all away? Nothing is doing it for me.

I usually take either alka-seltzer or alka-seltzer gas relief, the gas relief comes in small pills I think they work better than gas-x or phazyme.

Sorry for your discomfort - most of us have been there. Fennel tea is particularly good for gas - try to mash it up with a mortar and pestle or lightly chop it with a knife - it will make it more potent. I think some people here have found bean-o helpful. I've never tried it myself. I'm wondering if there's a hidden gas culprit in your diet. It might be a good time to look at what you're eating - read labels, and review the list of trigger foods. Also, lots of people here find high fructose syrup, preservatives, artificial sugars, -nasty triggers as well. Let us know how you're doing.

Hi I do make lots of strong fennel tea by grinding it. Nothing in my diet is causing it. I'm extremely careful of what I eat plus there's not much food to choose from where I live. I need some kind of med which I can't find. I have really severe IBS so it's not easy to go through this day after day after day. Thanks

I actually can't order gas med online because if it doesn't work then I through my money away. Also I really can't afford it. I'm barely getting by. It would be really pricey also since I live in Canada. I can hardly find anything here. Thanks anyway though.

Hi, over the past while I have found that in order to reduce bloating and gas when I eat Beans/Soy, I take beano tablets with the meal. But lately I have still had pain and gas despite the Beano, so I stopped eating soy/beans for the past week and I have been pain-free. Now I am reintroducing small amounts of foods that have bit of soy in them such as my granola, which seems to be going all right. I still get some gas but nowhere near as much, and it doesn't hurt anymore. Another thing I have tried that seems to have worked, is to have my fruit each day all on its own, since it is mostly soluble fibre anyhow. Before that I found that mixing a banana with my oatmeal was causing way too much gas action. Interestingly enough, my partner who does not have IBS, had found that our increased intake of Soy products and beans was causing painful gas like never expereinced before. Now that we have both stopped beans and soy, my partner also feels much better. Kris
