generic altoids?

are generic altoids safe to use/still effective? regular altoids have gelatin and i'm a vegetarian so they aren't compatible. i did find generics though w/o that byproduct. are they still effective? also they now have those little sheets you put on your tongue for fresh breath put out by the altiod people. are those beneficial??

sorry for all the questions, but i'm excited that i found ones that are ok with one diet, now i just need to see if they are good for ibs.

Hi - As long as the brands you're looking at use peppermint oil or peppermint extract (as opposed to artificial flavors), and don't use artificial sweeteners (especially sorbitol) you should be good to go!
