I've tried it, and had no problems. I'm ok with oatmeal in general...

that Kashi is another name for buckwheat? So if you are okay with buckwheat, this should be safe, especially since it is a softer flake form than the granules.

I'm interested in knowing how you do with them. They are GF so I may be able to replace my cream of rice with them once in a while. I've been too scared to try them. But you are a lot more stable than I, and can tolerate more foods.

I had issues with hot buckwheat (I thought kasha was the other name for that- not kashi, kashi is a brand name). this doesn't mention buckwheat but says its made from whole grain oats.

I am ok with cheerios.. so going to try it.

Sorry, Amie. You're right. Kasha is buckwheat. Never heard of Kashi with an I! How was it anyhow?

Guess I can't have this cereal since it probably isn't GF!

good and I think it is- if pure oats are safe (some people I know doing gluten free say oats are ok, some don't... ) thats the only thing I can see that I think has gluten potentially. its called kashi heart to heart.. no bloat issues from it at all so far and I ate it 6 hours ago

what exactly did it do to you when you ate it? What reaction did it cause?

I had just nuked it with rice milkf or a good long time.. I have had a few items with buckwheat in them in smaller percentages, but I still bloat... oats seem safe though.
