I am sort of confused as to how to make the fennel tea. Does steeping the seeds do the job or must you crush them? I tried doing this and ended up with like a powder that came right through the mesh into the cup. I tried to drink that but began feeling queasy. I have noticed it is strong when just the seeds are brewed, but wanted to be sure I was actually getting the effect. Have been mixing this with mint tea to disguise the funny taste!

I have a box here and it says to add one or two tablespoons of the whole seeds to a cup and a half of water, bring to the boil and let simmer for 5-15 minutes depending on the strength you want. Hope this helps!

I steep mine whole and it always seems to do the trick for me. I also like mixing them with mint! I agree that they're much tastier that way.
