Hi everyone,

I am new on the site and the diet, but it has been very helpful for me. I finally got questions to some issues which have really puzzled me during the 3 years I have been suffering from IBS.

As I said I ve had IBS for 3 years. I have not strong symptoms, have only had 2-3 D attacks, all fairly painless and dealt with quickly with medication and diet.

However, I suffer from bloating and constant excessive gas. Anything I eat seems to trigger gurgling in my tummy and soon after gas (always odorless thank God!).

Heather's diet has been of help but I still have quite a lot of the stuff when I wake up in the morning.

I have ordered the fiber supplement but have not got it yet. Will this help or anything else??

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Thanks a lot

BTW, I am female 33 y.o.

It sounds like you're getting the noisy tum from it being empty...I get that too! A SFS will really help with this, as will trying to keep some SF in your system all the time...lots of snacks are the best idea. Never let your tum get too empty, cos if you do, when you eat something, your system will over-react!

Be extra careful to always well cook/puree IF veggies and avoid the triggers.

Also, try fennel tea for the bloating.
