Hi beth! How are you doing, how are you feeling? I'm still taking the Triphala and the g-zymes not real consistent. I don't think they are any miracle or anything, but must be helping me somewhat. I'm going to go back to taking some more psyllium now too. That used to work a little for me, but I never stuck to it. AHH! I'm so frustrated. I'm going to Cancun in two weeks for my wedding and I'm nervous about eating! That should be the least of my worries. My finance is sooo understanding though. Update me on what's going on with you.

I've been thinking about you alot lately. Wondering how you've been managing the zymes and triphala. I still take my 4000 mg a day and am hoping they are doing something!

Why are you adding the psyllium? Isn't the acacia working for you? Plus aren't you on miralax as well? Would you be substituting the psyllium for one of those or just adding it them? Doesn't it bloat you? It is known to do that you know!

I'm trying to modify my diet more to get some relief: replacing white rice with brown, trying to make homemade soups out of sweet potato, butternut squash, carrots, and some pumpkin a little parsnip instead of my white rice bread for lunch. Or eating cooked potato, carrots and lentils for lunch. Trying to eat cooked prunes at night, changing white rice bread to brown rice bread, eating 1/2 Tablespoon ground flaxseed to cooked cereals.

Tried eating fruit with skin once, but got scared. So I do peeled nectarines, peeled baked apples, blueberries (even though they have skin) staying away from the bananas and papaya and other soluble fruits and substituting IF fruits as much as I can.

We'll see how it goes. I'm scared, but I already hurt so what do I have to lose to try? I'm also experimenting with stopping the zelnorm after 2 1/2 months, so that is scary too. But I can always go back on it. I don't think it was doing anything, but I will see, won't I.

I forgot your wedding was coming up! I wish you felt more stable with your IBS beforehand. You must have a great fiance to be so kind through all your difficulties. Gives me hope there are men out there who wouldn't be totally freaked out by my GI problems and eating quirks!

Hi! Well, I thought the psyllium might bulk up my stool a bit because with the miralax and everything it's really runny. I'm still going to take acacia, but just take some of both. Everything makes me bloated already, so whatever I guess! You sound like you have a really good diet going, I'm so bad with mine sometimes. You think the Triphala is working at all? This sucks, huh?
