I have found a yummy snack that satisfies my sugar craving if you like coconut. They are Jennies Coconut Macaroons. It says right on the package Gluten Free, Lactose Free and Sulfite Free, Does not contain any Trans Fats.
They are only about $1 a piece at the store here.
The package lists a website but it is under construction right now it is: www.redmillfarms.com
Ingredients: Unsweetened Sulfite Free Coconut, Honey & Egg White. No synthetic color, no artificial flavor and no chemical preservatives.
I crave sugar alot and have not cut it out completely but have drastically reduced the amount I eat. I haven't had chocolate in almost 2 weeks. I resort to applesauce or these treats when I want somethng sweet
If you can find these everyone should try them cause they are yummy and I am kinda picky about what I like/ don't like!!!
Good Luck,
Beth

I also tried the Chocolate Applesauce Cake recipe from the IBS Diet Book and it was yummy and filling for me.

P's mum gave me a box of ferrero rocher and they have been making me so sick I asked my brother to bring them to college with him! I have to give up again, I was off it for three whole months...SUPPORT ME ON THIS !!!

Oh, the Rocher Trap!

I got suckered into Ferrero Rocher befoer Christmas because the supermarket had tiny wee little three-packs of them. I kept buying them because I thought "There's only three, so I can't overdo it, I'll just have one a day...."

The day I went to the supermarket three times and bought a pack each time, I knew I had to stop.
And now I have to go to my happy place and NOT to the supermarket. Uh oh.....

I switched to only buying really good (and therefore strong!) dark chocolate. I can only have a few squares or I'd feel sick anyway as it's so rich! And it's so yummy!

But ADBs etc are alot safer.

From what I remember (it's been so long since I've had dairy), chocolate sorbet has a much better taste and texture than the ice cream. I almost cried when I first found Haagen Daaz sorbet because I missed ice cream and chocolate so much.

So I don't overdo it with the chocolate, I have a scoop of the sorbet with a scoop of Soy Dream French Vanilla frozen dessert or strawberry sorbet--heaven!
