Has anyone tried the restrictive soluble fiber diet for IBS-D? I was just wondering if it really helps. I am having a lot od D, and need to do something fast. I have started on a SFS, and now need to start the diet, but am just wondering if I am better off starting the restricted diet for a few days, and then slowly incorporate the rest of Heather's diet. Thanks!

I would start with the restrictive diet when starting Heather's diet. The restrictive diet gives your body a chance to rest, especially with all the D that you are having. Then you will slowly be able to add in foods in a way that your body can gradually accept.

Hope this helps!

I agree with Jennifer. Start with the diet, get your bidy back on track and then start experimenting... Feel better!
