Michele - have you tried crystallized ginger for nausea since you don't like tea?

Hi Maggs,
I've seen ginger chews at the store is that the same? I think I also saw hard ginger "candy" would that work as well? No, I haven't tried it but I'm willing to try something new! Thanks!

Ginger, both crystallized and tea, are GREAT for nausea. Believe me...I get it too! Hope you are feeling well soon. Welcome to the boards!

Artist, I've been seeing this happen too:

Quote:

You will find a huge amount of information and support here. My guess is, in no time, YOU will be welcoming new members! That seems to be the way things progress around here. We start to feel better as a result of fantastic advice and want to share that with someone new.

I think that this is my favorite part of the boards. I've noticed this happen with quite a few new members, who become old members, and go from asking for help to helping others. It's so great to see this happen.

They're not the same. Check here for a pic and description of crystallized ginger. Just scroll down till you get to the crystallized ginger.

I've seen/tried the ginger chews & ginger hard candy (gin gins), but I just had them because I love ginger, not for nausea. I'm not sure if they work also or as well, but they probably would since they have ginger in them.

Mags,

Can you get this at Whole Foods? It seems like a big ordeal to make your own crystallized ginger...am I right? Have you ever made it yourself before? Thanks!!!

*hugs*
