How much water should an IBS-C person drink (including hot tea) to get things "moving"???? I am also taking miralax twice per day - nothing too good yet

At least 8 glasses (bottles) of water/day. Tea counts as water and I think juice counts too. Pop, coffee, etc. don't count.

I try to shoot for 64 oz a day. I put a sticky note on my 16 oz water bottle & mark off each bottle I finish. If I have any tea, then I just consider that extra.
I'm pretty sure with miralax you need to drink a lot of water anyway. I know Michele takes it so hopefully she'll chime in & let you know how much she drinks.

I do take miralax and I shot for 10 BIG glasses or bottles a day!!! I don't ALWAYS manage to get that much in but I'm usually pretty good. When my water intake is not enough, I can feel it! Needless to say, I pee a LOT!!

Taking it one day at a time.....

Oh, at least 64 ounces a day. Know what I do that's really convenient and helpful? I use a 64 oz (2 quart) juice bottle, fill it with herbal tea at the beginning of the day, schlep it around with me, and swig from it all day long. Kinda reminds me of my water-intake goal.
And it's truly amazing how this single factor is so influential to your regularity!
