Is pizza okay for IBS-Ders if you have it without cheese, onions, and peppers? I like to have a vege pizza with zucchini, mushrooms and olives, no cheese.

I shared a pizza with a friend from work once. My half just had zucchini, olives and red peppers with no cheese and it was pretty yummy.

It should be fine. Only keep in mind that sometimes things have way more oil than can possibly be imagined and certain people are bothered by tomato sauce. Olives are high in fat but with a low fat crust a few olives will be acceptable. Otherwise it is just fine.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

I can't believe you guys can eat all these foods!!!! I can have the bread and olive oil, that's it. No oregano, no tomatoes, no basil, CERTAINLY no garlic, and no dairy. And scrapmeats like pepperoni and sausage is right out.

Doesn't mean I don't crave it, tho.

Pizza seems to be the only thing that almost never triggers my IBS....Makes NO sense though..sauce, cheese. I only ever get plain pizza though since veggies are out for me. Mushrooms once in a while but I usually stick with plain.
