Dear Hearts;
Having a funny few days-sharp pains but no D-actually good solid bulk.Gotta keep an eye on this,it's wierd.Anyway,got a question-anyone familiar with Yarba Mate,the South American pick-me-up tea that's getting so popular worldwide?I'm looking for coffee substitutes and that's actually supposed to not only give the same lift as coffee,but actually HELPS IBS medicinally.Sounds WAY too good to be true.Anyone who's into that stuff can assist me here?IS it as good as advertised?

Great question. I've seen it in the health food store and wondered if it is as good as it claims.

Hi Andrew,
This product has been brought up in the past, although I cannot remember who specifically liked to drink these. Do a search on Yerba Mate with no time limits and you should find the answers you need.
Hope this helps!

I remember trying this years ago and hating the taste - bitter and tobacco-ey (?!!) but I wasn't IBS in those days and only drank herbal tea if I liked the taste! Maybe I will try it again ... let us know how you get on with it!

I found some info on it and it seems as if can be a laxative. So I'm out as far as using it! Since I lean towards D! It's worth a try I guess if you're a C! Sandy

Is it bad like the smooth move with the senna? I have some but I'm afraid to drink it until I get the okay from the expert! Thank you so much!
