Hi there,
I started taking a high daily dose of Provera (synthetic progesterone) for endometriosis about three months ago. This almost completely eliminated my endo symptoms, however I started having really bad IBS-D symptoms which I've never had before. This coincided with starting my first full-time job, and it happens every morning when on my way to work, as well as during my morning meetings, which I find unbearable. Has anyone had any similar experiences? I don't know if the Provera is making it worse. This could be either directly (progesterone effect), or indirectly, as the Provera has caused rather intense anxiety and depression symptoms which have coincided with the IBS-D, and it could well be the anxiety which is causing it.
Thanks for any advice.

Hi! I don't have endo and therefore have not been on provera but I know for sure that progesterone in the pill and depo-provera (the contraceptive injection) make me terribly ill with shocking d and tummy pains. Talk to your doctor about it, it's completely possible it's the pill.
