Yes! My brother has a box in the house so I just checked the ingredients and its fine (obviously use rice or soy milk)
We haven't met yet so welcome to the boardsQ!
Have you seen our UK brands list? its here and it has a UK section for other foods. If there is any food you would like to add either email me or post on the boards.
Unlike the chocolate chip cookies I am currently munching and am bound to regret later..

...I eat it all the time. I find proper porridge makes me bloated (too much IF) but ReadyBrek is just fine as it's all ground up. Enjoy!

Thanks Cailin and Linzi,
It was one food that I enjoy and keeps me filled up, did not want to be giving this up as well. (oh joy)

Do most breakfast cereals seem to be ok over here?
I bought a box of Frosties last night as everything on the packet looked pretty safe.
Is this the case or am I missing something?

..........nearly forgot I also have some Quaker Scotch Porridge Oats at home to. I know these are a really good source of IF but I was just thinking about the 'grainy-ness' (new word!) and wondering if that would be a problem or not??

I do not much at this point, what I do know is that rice crispies and cheerios and readybreak are no problems.
Linzi's the best person to let you know and I'm sure she will.
Good luck

Hi chubs,
I was told that readybrek is great for those with C and porridge oats can bloat you up, check this out for yourself and see which you feel better with.
Good luck

Been following the diet now for a week. Have eaten porridge every morning, I do not feel bloated at all when Ive eaten it, its just my evil D came back on two days, seems to have passed now (touch wood), the only other thing I ate on those two days is some Ginger Snap Biscuits, they are listed on the safe foods list but I am going to give them a miss in future just in case, better to be safe than sorry

Most cereals over here are fine as we don't have so much HFCS. Obviously something like bran flakes or muesli is VERY high in IF (INsoluble fibre) so don't get those. ReadyBrek is high in SF (soluble fibre) and low in IF. Porridge has more IF but alot of people, especially Cer's do well on it. I'm just a tad sensitive to it.
Check the actual ingredients of your ginger snap biscuits. Alot of them are high in fat so you need to find a low fat brand.
