housebound? My IBS is so severe. My life is complete misery. I don't only have to deal with that but many other horrible situations.

Yes I was house bound when I was so sick at the beginning. But every day got a little better. It has taken a bit of time but with eating properly,relaxing and a little pray you will get there. After the DR's figure out exactly what is wrong you and they can help you get better. One day at a time.

I've been housebound since I was 17. I don't know if it will ever get under control.

I think we've all been housebound at one time or the other. There is hope. Follow the dietary guidelines on this website. You should see an improvement. Have you been tested for celiac? Might be a good thing to rule out at this point.
As for everything else going on in your life, take it one day at a time.
