It will take a little while to get your C under control, but patience and time will prevail as long as you follow the diet.
The most important keys:
1. Lots and lots and lots of water (at least 64oz per day) 2. Excercise every day (even if it's just a walk around the block) 3. Insolubles with your solubles (make sure you eat soluble first!) 4. A daily amount of SFS (I use Benefiber)

I'm an IBS-A er so I am not the best to advise on this- Maybe do a search as there have been lots of posts on this, just do a no time limits search for IBS-C and you should find stuff. The same diet advice works for both. I know that Daliatree,Michele, Sweetd to name but a few are IBS-C

Thank you for the 4 ways to beat C. I am using acaia and I need to quit the milk and start the IBS diet and try some of the recipies for IBS.

I want to mention one more thing... my biggest trigger is dairy. Make sure you're looking at labels... they hide dairy behind words like casien or casienate (which is a milk derivitive)!
