I hope to "outgrow" both the IBS and the migraines someday. Don't have the asthma (thank goodness).
Thanks for the info! Shel

Thankfully my canker sore is gone! I do use a toothepaste that contains no SLS, Biotene. It has helped alot but now that I'm not pregnant anymore I'm starting to get more flare ups of the canker sores. Oh, and I don't have Asthma or migraines. I used to get migraines alot when I was younger though. I did get one early on in my pregnancy, but that's it.

Thanks. Is IBD Irritable Bowel Disorder? What's the difference from IBS and how are canker sores related to that?

How soon after your son's birth did your IBS symptoms come back? Did you nurse? My daughter is 2 weeks old today and I'm nursing. So far, other than the occasional stomach cramps (usually during the night time feedings), it hasn't come back. I've even had cheese, ice cream, pizza and wings, to name a few since she has been home without any problems. If this keeps up I can live with it.

I get the Acidophilus at the Health Food Store or at The Vitamin Shop (I find the Vitamin Shop is the cheapest).

Some forms of IBDs like Crohns have the body attacking itself along the digestive tract. Your mouth is part of this.
'Fraid I;m not really up on IBDs. If you want more info on them, post on their board.

I only nursed for about a week. I pumped during that time and then about a week after, so not long at all. I had a c-section, I don't know if that has anything to do with the symptoms coming back but they started coming back around a month or so after I had him, I guess right around the time I got my first period, so I'm thinking it's all hormone related! Have you found the IBS is worse during your period? Oh, and the stomach cramps are probably your uterus shrinking, I had that. But I hope the symptoms stay away for good for you! Good luck with nursing, it was too difficult for me to continue, so I admire you for continuing!
