Hi there, I've never heard of that before! At first I thought that sounded really strange, but I have heard of using massage and reflexology and accupuncture, so why not add that to the list too?? As for how much any of those things actually work, I have noooo idea. If it was no expense, I would say give it a try and see but if'll lighten your wallet quite a bit I dunno. Maybe try and find out why he is suggesting and what results you can expect and that sort of thing before you make up your mind. If you do go for it, definitely let us know what happens! --Steph

I have heard that if your spine is not aligned, then signals to your nerves are sending the wrong messages to your gut, etc..I don't know too much about it..this is the chiro's website: www.musachiropractic.com

I go to a chiropracter about once a month for my migraines. He adjusts my whole back & my neck. I've never asked about the IBS, but the adjustments I've had have not changed my IBS. I'll have to ask him about that next time I go.

Even a good chiropractor can't do that much IMHO. They say areas are interconnected so helping align things will improve you internally. Nevertheless if you have IBS it is not that easy to find a cure unfortunately. I go to chiro/homeopathy and he knows I have IBS. I buy enzymes from him. But I go for other reasons and just hope maybe my tummy will get better too. Hope this helps.
-------------------- IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
