I had a bm late Sunday night, but I haven't gone yet since then. I was doing really well and then I got C for a week and then D this weekend and the combination has messed me up!

My question is, if I have a glass (small) of V8 per day is that enough insolubles? I really don't know why I'm not going daily, I was up until last week!

What "enough" is varies from person to person. Try a glass of V8 for a couple of days and see how you feel. How about some applesauce? Vegetable soup? In any case, add or subtract insolubles slowly based on what your belly is telling you. You're the ultimate judge!

I have been drinking one glass of V8 everyday and it has been helping. I think I should add more. Apple sause, I can't eat, it has corn in it and I am allergic. Do you know of any other fast (on the go) safe insolubles? Thanks.

I don't understand why your applesauce would have corn in it. My applesauce is pure apple with no other additives. A couple of others things to think about. 1, are you getting enough SFS? 2, are you drinking a lot of water? 3, are you getting exercise? Those things have really helped me.

I looked at quite a few apple sauses and they all stated that they had corn in them. What brand do you buy?

Yes, I am taking 2 1/2 Tablespoons of Acacia, and no I have no time to exercise, I have my wedding coming up in a month, so I am short on time. I also, have been drinking tons of water. I used to exercise 3 times a week. After the past fews months even if I didn't exercise I stil went.

I'm also IBS C. Try a snack pack of raisins a few times a week. Try some hummus, dip some bread in it for a quick little snack. I make up pasta salad with some chicken (you can buy already cooked chicken to save time) and add in some kidney beans, yummy! Or try pasta salad with tuna and peas! Grapes and oranges tend to loosen things up for me when things get backed up!

Thanks Michele! Any kind of pickles? Can I eat any of them except for the butter flavored ones I am assuming?

I like the valastic sweet midgits, crunchy and sweet-mmmm! The bread and butter pickles, as they are called, I don't believe them to have any butter in them!!! I'll have to check my jar when I get home, I eat them and don't have any problems!
