It is so nice to know and hear from people that know what I have gone through. My family could never understand why Mom didn't like to go camping or vacationing or why their sister did not want to go to all the family get togethers. It was very hard sometimes. I think they thought I was just unsociable. Well some think that IBS may likely be caused by a low fiber diet. I was a very picky and light eater as a child. I don't know if that is the reason or not. There is a lot of information on this site that I have not gotten to yet. I was thinking that if that was the cause why could it not be reversed. I have been taking fiber supplements for 25 years now and if I don't take them I am in trouble. You would think after all those years a person could reverse the symptoms. Just rambling.

Hi, Rylee! My mom still won't admit she has IBS. As far as reversing the symptoms, I don't know, so many things change as our bodies get older, I think it's only natural that we need some help, like with fiber supplements or reading glasses or ibuprofen for the arthritis! I absolutely intend to take my SFS the rest of my life and if anyone tries to take it away from me they're gonna get hurt!! 
Maybe someday they'll figure out the cause for sure and come up with a cure. Until then, I guess we just have to keep taking our SFS.

You probably had the IBS from birth, so no matter what you ate it would've reared it's head eventually! We're just wired slightly wrong somewhere! At least we have the SFS.
