Hey - I noticed that in a couple of posts that you mentioned eating baby food. When you started eating them did you get sick at all? I dont eat enough fruits and veges AT ALL and I really want to change that. I eat a banana every day and eat potatoes a lot but thats pretty much it - were you eating fruits and vegetables when you started the baby food? Anyways I love the fruit ones so I thought it could at least be a start!

Hi, I'm not Casey but I will add my two cents.

Have you tried cooked carrots, applesauce, and cooked baby peas? I can tolerate these.

Hey - Ive been stalling(sp?) on answering because the 16th is my moms birthday and my sister wants to throw her a surprise party and they live 3 hours away. She hasnt decided for sure yet so Im waiting for her to say yes or no. If she ends up not doing it then I will definitely be there! =)

Hey! You're right, they're a good start. I was able to eat the babyfood with no problems at all - no D, no stomachaches. To be on the safe side, I started with the plain mango ones, but now I can eat any of them. Just be sure to read the ingredients - some of the fruits contain dairy.

I was already eating fruits and vegetables when I started on the babyfood, but not much - just peas and carrots. The babyfood has definitely helped me get more of a variety in my diet.

I've actually never tried any of the vegetables, but I bet the sweet potatoes would be tasty. Yum. I eat at least one jar of a fruit every day. The blueberry buckle that Gerber makes is SO good.
