Hi,
I have noticed that I get a better "bulking" action of the stool with Metamucil (smooth texture) that I have with Tummy Fiber. I am wondering if I need to take more of the Tummy Fiber (about a tablespoon a day) to get a more formed stool?

try going to another 1 Tbsp. dose each day, for 2 Tbsp. total. If it took you a while to reach the 1 Tbsp. you can increase more slowly - listen to your own body here.

Also - about 1/3 the fiber in psyllium, which is what Metamucil uses, is insoluble. So if you've eliminated the psyllium make sure you're getting insoluble fiber from foods, and not relying 100% on soluble fiber. It's always important to use soluble fiber (foods and supplements) as a foundation to let you safely add insoluble fiber.

Keep me posted!
