I can't tolerate the stuff, but boy, does it taste good!! I've never seen rice ice cream other than Rice Dream, but there are a few other rice milks out there, and none of them are as good as the Rice Dream. The vanilla is great on cereal, and the chocolate is heavenly, like a milkshake in a carton.

not only do I secodn this.. its the ONLY rice milk I've found WITHOUT CARAGEENAN... which is a HUGE trigger for me... The ice cream is ok, but I prefer using rice dream and Heathers chocolate silk pudding recipe and then putting it through my ice cream freezer... YUMMY! even my friends will eat it and enjoy it that way- not DH- he doesn't like chocolate much though

Hi Leigh,
I like Rice Dream Ice cream as a frozen dessert, but prefer the rice, almond and oat beverages from Pacific foods. The oat is real thick, like a whole milk, but is not pure white. Doesn't bother me though. Kandee

http://www.imaginefoods.com/pages/products/ricedreamfrozen.php
I have been looking for a non-dairy, non-soy, non-carrageenan ice cream product, and I found Rice Dream a while back on the internet, but I did not make the effort to find a store that sells it near me, because on their website they list "carrageenan" in the ingredients. And carageenan gives me terrible migraines. if someone has some rice dream in their freezer right now and can look at the carton and confirm that there is no carageenan then maybe I will try to find some

I believe she was referring to the Rice Dream milks - she makes her own ice cream using those. I have a carton of Rice Dream in the freezer, and it does contain carageenan, yep. But the milks definitely do not.
