Other then the Lemon Rice Pudding suggested in the FAQ thread..
Could you ALL please drop your favourite high calorie recipes?
I need to gain weight, and I think I need to up my calories in order to do so, as my high carb diet doesn't seem to work at all..
My daily intake consists of:
Breakfast: Rice Crispies with Soya Milk
Dinner: Banana, Tuna Sandwhich, Crisps (chips), and a Chocolate bar (hey! heather said it's ok!!!!)
Evening meal: Chicken, potatoes (sometimes waffles) Shepards pie sometimes, somtimes i'll have pasta or speggetie noddles... I mix and match the above....
Still - I'll probably snakc on mr kipling cakes too... or crisps or nuts..
How can i improve my diet to gain weight? Suggests NEEDED!

Snacks, snacks, snacks! If you don't snack in between meals, it really is a good idea... it'll give you opportunities to add more calories to your diet, but it's also better for IBS in general to always have a little bit of something in your system.
Any of the cakes, muffins, and quick breads would be great for snacking. I don't know if you have Eating for IBS, but if you do, the chocolate applesauce cake/bread is my personal favorite. Others here like the Antidepressant Brownies and the Peppermint Fudge Cake. Angel food cake is another good choice.
There's lots of good recipes to be found here and here. Good luck!
