Follow the diet -- IT WORKS!!

I have been a good for the last week and no attacks. It's been very tough for me to give up dairy, fried foods, and chocolate. Taking psyllium capsules before meals really seems to help. One day I was and had a piece of Godiva chocolate and whoa!! Instant cramps.

Here's are some suggestions for what to eat:

baked potatoes
sweet potatoes
cooked carrots
bananas
low fat gingersnaps
graham ers (low fat if possible)
babyfood fruit if you can stand it
toast with reduced fat marg if you can't eat it plain which I can't
Life cereal with soy milk (keep trying different brands till you find one you like and give yourself time to get used to it -- I had to read while I ate for a week to distract myself from the odd taste and consistency but now I am used to it)
Homemade chicken noodle soup -- commercial soups are bad bad bad
grilled chicken, stir fried chicken, baked chicken -- white meat of course

One key is to take the soluble fiber supplement first, then eat the safe foods, then have a salad or some fruit give you a little insoluble fiber

good luck!!! be patient and keep trying!!
