Acacia and Probiotics

I just ordered the Acacia Fiber for the first time. I used to take Konsyl regularly until I dramatically changed my diet. This change in diet has now eliminated my C and D almost completely. Now my major symptoms are gas, bloating and some heartburn. The gas and bloating range from daily discomfort to debilitating pain. I'm hoping the Acacia will help with this.

My question: I just starting taking Probiotics as well. As Acacia is a prebiotic, should I continue taking the Probiotics with it? Would there be any harm in that? Or could I only benefit from taking both?

Prebiotics support the function of probiotics... so there's definitely no harm (and plenty of potential benefit) in taking both.

Yes, you can take both. You should take them at different times though. If you take too much acidphilus at once you can have loose stool.
