Hello Everyone,
I had an attack last night that began with a migraine headache ,then nausea, then came real close to throwing up, then had D. Does anyone else get headaches and nausea prior to an attack. I don't always get attacks like this but sometimes I do. And when I do I am usually sick the following day. Last night I went to sleep with the headache and woke up with it. And I have had slight nausea all day.

Christie,
I've never had those symptoms. I just wanted to say, "Great pic!"

hey there. i don't get the migraines but i def get shocking nausea, which indicates to me that its going to be a bad night, followed by lots of pooing with waves of nausea which are strong. the next day i am just exhausted and yes, still nauseous. i hate those attacks so much and am sorry you had one. do you get migraines often?

Christie,
I am sorry that you are feeling bad. I get migraines often and they usually last 3 days for me. I find many times when I have a migraine I just feel bad all over, which can include a stomach ache and D.
When I am having an attack because of something I have eaten I don't usually get a headache before. Many times I will have an upset stomach though.
Hope you are feeling better.

Thanks! I am not sure which one you saw I have been switching between 3 different ones trying to figure out which one is the least blurry. I think I will stick with the one I have up now.

Sorry you are having a tough time. I don't get migraines but I know people who do and they say nausea is part of the migraine. Not usually "D" though. Could you have had a migraine & also a reaction to something you ate that triggered IBS, too? Boy, what a double whammy!!! ![](/messageboards/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif)
Are you on any meds for the migraines?
I get nausea a lot. Usually brought on by stress and after a panic attack I am nauseous the whole next day. UGH!!! I take pepto bismol and that does help settle my tummy a little. I got some ginger capsules that I am going to try sometime when I get the courage.... I have fear of trying anything new.
BTW, love your pic.
Feel better soon Barbie

Hey Barbie,
I am not on meds for the migraines b/c I am reluctant to ingest anymore pills then I already am. I don't think anything I ate set off the attack. The migraines start and then everything else usually follows. I am feeling fairly normal this evening, so thank God that it has ended.
I was nauseous the other day and tried some ginger tea but couldn't stomache it. Where do you get ginger capsules? I heard Ginger works well for nausea but I can't do the tea, so maybe capsules are the ticket. But I guess that will be another pill to digest. ![](/messageboards/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif)

I got the ginger capsules at the Health Food Store. But, they are still sitting in the cabinet because I'm scared to take them!! Have you ever tried Pepto Bismol? I know it tastes yucky but it does help me some with the nausea. You can buy it in tablets, too.
Happy you are feeling better today.
