Hello, I was wondering if anyone else has "night sweats" and if this is part of IBS. I am 29 and have had symptoms of IBS (although not diagnosed until 9/02) since I was a kid. I have been having night sweats since about 18 years of age, and always thought it was hormonal. But since I was diagnosed IBS (D-by the way) It seems to be a indicator of an attack the next morning. Any thoughts? SharShar

Maybe your night sweats are still hormonal, and your IBS D is too? I do see a connection in my case (see my other posts)

Thanks for your reply, I am going off the Pill in about 3 weeks as my Husband and I are hoping of starting a family, and I am curious as to how this is going to affect my IBS. Thanks again SharShar

I have night sweats too. It is usually about 3 days before my period, and I wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat and tremendously nauseaus. I almost feel like I have food poisioning. It keeps me up about an hour. But it is so late at night, I usually can't keep my eyes open. But it is always right around the time for my period.
