Does anyone have a source for Fennel Tea Bags, INDIVIDUALLY WRAPPED?

I'm specifically looking for individually wrapped Fennel tea bags, good for travel. Know any? I have a hard time with peppermint because of GERD. Traditional Medicinals has one but it is combined with peppermint and ginger.

So far I've come up with nothing.

I want them for the Las Vegas Fall Sprawl in Oct. (hope you all come).

Thank you.

Hey Kandee,

what do you mean by individually wrapped? I have found some that are wrapped like regular tea bags, but they don't have plastic wrap around them so everyhting will smelllike licorice.

check out Messmer Herbal Tea

and click on products. It's imported to the states by Euro-American Brands Inc. Paramus NJ 07652

I buy Alvita Fennel tea. They are made up of the grinded seeds in an individual bag. I take it to work and it helps me alot.

I agree with Sweetd. The only thing is they are like Celestial Seasonings teas; once you open the box you expose the very thin bags to air which can cause them to lose there potency.

I bought some from the Vitamin shop in Antioch, CA. I wish I could find some wrapped like Bigelow wraps theirs.

Good Luck

Hi Dana, I buy Alvita brand too, different kinds other than fennel that I use at home, but they ALL come stuffed in a box, not individually wrapped or marked like I'm looking for. Call me fussy.

Good Luck Thanks, I think I'll need it. Kandee

Hey Kandee, Hey Jamie...good to see you..

what do you mean by individually wrapped? Besides being in the flow through bag there is an outer wrapping that you take off before you dump into the hot water. Some are see thru plastic and others are paper or foil. I have found some that are wrapped like regular tea bags, but they don't have plastic wrap around them so everyhting will smelllike licorice. Therein lies the problem I'm trying to avoid..I'm not to fond of the taste of fennel tea to begin with, but dang..that stuff works. I sure as heck don't want to walk around smelling like a licorice stand!

check out Messmer Herbal Tea

and click on products. It's imported to the states by Euro-American Brands Inc. Paramus NJ 07652 Thanks Jamie, neat teas but it doesn't say if individually wrapped or not..I'll email them..

Worse comes to worse I'll carry the Alvita brand in a zip lock bag.

You might want to try an Indian food market, if any are around you. I have seen some other types of teas wrapped individually at these stores. otherwise they might have them on line. Good luck.

Ahhh, the HFS, my home away from home. They carry only Select brand but do not know of a source. I was hoping there may be some herbal tea experts out there that would know of one. Anyway, thanks...Kandee

Kandee, maybe this is too obvious but why not just wrap the ones you have in tinfoil one by one then put them all in a ziploc? I don't know how many you're talking about, though, so maybe that's not practical.

Also, I carry my peppermint tea bags in my purse in a tin like Altoids come in so they don't smell.
