Hello there. I am able to tolerate peas after I have had my chips (french fries)and I always take my hand blender and puree them before I eat them. I know everyone is different with what they tolerate, so good luck.

Hi - Peas, like many veggies, have an outer layer of insoluble fiber. The inside is soluble fiber. So, you want to cook your peas until very tender, and then either chop them up or puree them until smooth. This will really minimize the effect of the insoluble fiber. Also, eat them with high soluble fiber foods like rice, pasta, potatoes.

And I'm wondering about Peanut's chips too - Peanut, these surely aren't deep fried are they?!

Hello. I haven't been able to handle fried food for years, so that is a BIG no! All I do is take a sweet potato with the white flesh and peel it. Then I chuck it in the microwave for about 10 minutes total (flip after 5). Then I cut it into chips size pieces and sometimes put some seasoning on it, but bake it in the oven until done. I like to bake them on 550F (I know that is a high heat, but they don't take as long to bake)for about 10 minutes on each side. Cooking time is about 20 minutes give or take and I do keep my eye on them. Then I just plate them up and have with my peas and ketsup.

I didn't mean to scare you thinking that they were fried. I bake everything! LOL!!

Hope you like them.

Take care,

Sheri
