I just read an article in the October issue of Prevention magazine where a lady wrote in asking if there was anything she could do to make "her farts less smelly".
The RD explained how as bacteria in the colon ferment indigestible bits of food, smelly gas results. Sulfur-rich foods, such as broccoli, cauliflower, and beans, and sorbitol produce a particularly pungent odor. But by drinking a half-cup of cranberry juice a day can help cut the smell; it contains phytochemicals that suppress the odor-causing bacteria. Other foods with deodorizing ingredients include yogurt (off limits for us), parsley, and mint leaves.
So, cranberry is safe for us to drink, right? I will try this if it is! I guess you would drink it after the meal?
