I thought citrate was good for C, carbonate for D (more)       04/06/05 03:48 PM Edit Reply Quote Sand Reged: 12/13/04 Posts: 4490 Loc: West Orange, NJ (IBS-D) I spent a lot of time looking stuff up on calcium a few months ago and here's what I figured out: calcium citrate is good if you're constipated: Citracal calcium carbonate is good if you have diarrhea: Tums Caltrate OsCal Viactiv (but most - perhaps all - flavors have dairy) If I've got this wrong, would someone please let me know?
