Before reading this post, grab a glass (eight ounces) of water and make sure to finish it before the end of this post.

An earier post make me realize that I wasn't drinking enough water. I had made a connection a few months ago that when I was religiously drinking at least 80 ounces of water per day, my system worked more smoothly, I felt better, had more energy, my skin cleared up (I'd break out in minor acne every once and again), and I felt all-around good because I was properly hydrated.

...still drinking....??

A general rule of thumb that I've learned it to drink half your body weight in ounces daily. That's a LOT of water if you've not been drinking that amount. Yes, you will be making a run to the potty more often, but your body will adjust within a week or so.

...You done? Grab another eight ounces.....

I have bought a really cool water bottle that I keep practially strapped to my side and always full. It's a constant reminder for me. If you don't like the taste, squeeze a lemon or lime in it to flavor it a little bit. I sometimes find that I can't tolerate ice-cold water, so I sometimes drink warm water if necessary.

....done! Bottoms up!....

thanks for reading!
